Where do I start? There are so many lessons in this book. Lessons about forgiveness, friendship, trust, vision, hope, grief, marriage, parenting and much more. In such moments you can get lost in despair or denial, or you can recognize the failure and run toward the hope of something new." There are so many nuggets, I finally had to take out pen and paper to capture them. One of the nuggets that impacted me the most is turn around and trust who is leading you. I absolutely adored this book!! I immediately fell in love with Henry (the irresistible, backward-walking donkey) and was amazed by the way that the author honestly shared her heartbreaks/ life struggles in a way that points us to God and His goodness! I loved the prayers that she shared, and definitely want to incorporate them into my daily conversations with the Lord. I pre-ordered this book for two of my good friends who live on farms and love the Lord...I know that they will be blessed by the book just as much as I have been! I highly recommend this book; my spiritual life has been deeply impacted by the lessons that were shared.

Reading this book was like visiting an old friend you haven’t seen for a while. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Rachel and Flash and meeting the new member of the family, Henderson Number 10, better known as Henry. The author’s style of writing made me feel as if I were right beside her, witnessing the antics and interactions between Henry and others.
